Proprietary technology for removal of environmental pollutants
Dioxin is the common name used to refer to the chemical 2,3,7,8-tetrachlorodibenzo-p-dioxin or TCDD. In addition to dioxin itself there are other compounds, such as the polychlorinated dibenzodioxins (PCDDs), polychlorinated dibenzofurans (PCDFs) and some polychlorinated biphenyls (PCBs), that have similar structures and activity as dioxin. These are often commonly referred to as dioxin-like compounds or "dioxins".
The dioxins and PCBs are known as the carcinogenesis compounds which damage human health seriously, it must be removed to a safety limit level. For omega-3 concentrated fish oil, GOED, EU and US Pharmacopoeia set limits on these compounds. Huatai pay high attention on the science and technologies development for removal of these organic pollutants, we adopt the proprietary process before esterification to removal of Dioxins. Gentle process protect oil from oxidation and trans-fattyacids (TFAs)
The oxidation and thermal decomposition or trans-isomerization of unsaturated fatty acids can forms various peroxides compounds and trans-fattyacid (TFAs), which are proved to be hurtful on human health, it¡¯s must be put into strictly control in industry process. In the quality limits set by GOED, EU and US Pharmacopoeia, the oxidation represented mainly by Peroxide Values, Anisidine Values, Totox.
Omega-3 Fish oil mainly consisted of high degree poly-unsaturated fatty acids, which are very instable against heat and oxygen. It¡¯s easy be oxidated with oxygen exposure in air, and with long time heating and high temperature, it¡¯s in high risk of thermal decomposition or trans- isomerization. So, mild process and extra care are absolutely necessary in production of concentrated omega-3 fatty acids .
In our production, we take the advantages of our state-of-the-art facilities and pay extra care in process to protect oil from exposure, improper heating with high temperature, for example, we improved the short-path distillation plant to conduct in highest vacuum condition to get the lowest evaporation temperature, the oil flows from step to step absolutely in airtight pipe or in vacuum condition., some process steps are protected by nitrogen.
